Your jokes are inert...
Hey all, Kai here.
You missed me do a little fangirlish squeal earlier. I just found out about the live-action DragonBall movie. I'm a fan, yes, it's terrible because I've moved on with my anime likes and dislikes quite a fair bit now, but it was really DragonBall (and Sailor Moon, but mostly DragonBall) that really got me into anime in the first place. Anyway, I'm trying to stay cautiously optimistic, as Scud put it, about this movie but I can't help but feel a little twinge of OMG! DBZ! YAY! fangirlism when I read about the cast and director and producer et cetera ad nauseam.
Okay, so I'm a bit skeptical about who they got to be Goku but they got James Marsters to be Piccolo. I can't argue with that.
No really, I just can't. I love James Marsters, Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and more recently, Brainiac in Smallville.
But overall, I'm trying to remain 'cautiously optimistic.' DragonBall in live-action... Hmm. I hope it's better than the english dubbed version of Bleach. ^_^
Oh, and I should mention that the new GFL is up now for your viewing enjoyment. I'm staying 'cautiously optimistic' about the outcome of this story arc.
