On Time! (Sort of)
Comic up! First on from game for Life World 3! Everyone tell Mike that he's hot and his beard is good.

The Spirit.
I've seen it twice now, once on opening day, and again over the past weekend. I feel I need to get something off my chest.
IT'S A DETECTIVE MOVIE! IT'S A SUPERHERO MOVIE! WHAT DID YOU PEOPLE EXPECT!?!
Sitting in the theater, I watch several people walk out on the flick. Then at the end, some guy (In spirit cosplay, no less) bitched incessantly for 10 minutes.
Alright, we get it. It strayed from Wil Eisner's original. For a bit. But it was not as far off as Spiderman's web glands or... well, anything in Xmen 3.
I see it as a perfect silver screen version! Frank Miller's style, Wil Eisner's humor. The characters were spot on for their comic book counter parts! Just a bit grittier.
In closing, fuck you. It was a super hero film nior (Or Newveu Noir, and I begrudgenly have to accept) detective film. Exactly what it promised to be!
